Puya?

These are the flowers from an incredible plant in the <i>Bromeliaceae</i> at Strybing. The plant sent up a 20 foot inflorescence, at least 2 feet in diameter. These flowers are 2 inches across and there were 10's of thousands of them.

Found across the path from the Cactus and Succulent garden.
